We made a simple infographic to guide you through your (probably first) gluten free expo.
Watch out for ticket giveaways- Most shops and blogs do a ticket giveaway a few weeks before a Gluten Free Expo so watch out and join them to score free tickets.
Don’t fill up with too much breakfast - Exhibitors in the Expo offer free samples of their products so make sure to leave room to try as much as you can.
Take advantage of presentations and demos - Demos are a great way to learn about new recipes and cuisines so take advantage and get tips from the pros.
Bring cash - Some shops will not have EFTPOS so bring cash just in case
Come early - You do not want to arrive and find that the products you’re after have been sold out, so come early.
Bring a trolley - You might be stocking up on your gluten free products at the expo so be efficient and bring a trolley so you don’t have to lug your heavy purchases around all day. Plus, it’s better for the environment than asking for plastic bags from each store.
Sign up to mailing lists - Be on the lookout for mailing list sign up sheets in the Expo. Some will put you in the draw to win special prices! Being in mailing lists will also allow shops and brands to send you exclusive promos, content, and so much more.
Ask questions - Now is the time to ask questions to your favourite gluten free brands and get the answer straight away!
Enjoy yourself- It’s priceless to not have to ask if something is gluten free!
Do you have your own tips and guides to attending a gluten free show?
