Gluten Free Falafel Wrap Recipe


Our vegan Falafel Mix is a great item to stock in your pantry (for up to 2 years) and whip out when you need a quick vegan meal! Have it in a salad bowl or in wrap. Follow this easy recipe below:


INGREDIENTS

  • YesYouCan Falafel Mix

  • 200ml hot water

  • Frypan

  • Gluten free wrap

  • Lettuce/ rockets/ spinach

  • Tomatoes

  • Lemon

  • Your favourite sauce



DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine YesYouCan Falafel Mix and 200ml of hot water in a bowl

  2. Mix well and let set for 10-15 minutes

  3. Pre-heat oil in a frypan to medium heat temperature (150-160°C)

  4. Shape mixture to form patties (small or medium depending on preference)

  5. Place in frypan and cook each side until golden brown

  6. Wipe off excess oil in frypan and place wrap on the pan for 2 minutes each side

  7. Place heated wrap on a plate

  8. Arrange the spinach, tomatoes, and cooked Falafel on the wrap

  9. Top off with your favourite sauce and squeeze lemon on top

  10. Roll the wrap and place it on the pan along the seam to seal it

  11. Serve and enjoy
